Why isn’t hybrid working? - With Gary Cookson
Hybrid working is still popular, but many organisations struggle due to a lack of structure, leading to RTO (return-to-office) mandates, this session explores common challenges and how leaders can make hybrid work successful.
Description
Lots of organisations have a hybrid working approach, and in general, it’s a really popular and sensible thing to do. But in most organisations, it isn’t working – too much is left to chance, it is causing problems, and rising tensions mean that there are many organisations implementing a return-to-office (RTO) mandate. It's the equivalent of jumping into a swimming pool having never learnt to swim, and being surprised and annoyed that you start to drown. The good news is that leaders and organisations can “learn to swim” – and thrive - in a hybrid environment. In this session we’ll look at the main criticisms of hybrid working, and what leaders and organisations can do to make it work for all.
